Interfaith Outreach Home
Interfaith Outreach Home (IOH) is an Atlanta area non-profit organization that provides a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for homeless families. Located in Doraville, families in the IOH program live in small self-contained apartments and are empowered to take control of their lives and successfully return to the larger community through intensive counseling, life skills training, job preparation and job search, coaching, etc. Greater Atlanta Day collects paper goods to fill their pantry at our month meetings, purchases cleaning supplies, donates baked goods for holidays, and hosts an annual Valentine Party for the families residing at IOH.
This year, our local Girl Scout Troop helped us support IOH by baking desserts for Thanksgiving and Easter, as well as baking sweet treats for the Valentine Party and attended to help members of Eta Omega entertain the children during the party with a pizza party and craft, making Valentines for their family.
